30 April 2018: Successful Defence of PhD Thesis by Peter Maclaren

One of the founding and most active members of STEM-TEC Peter Maclaren successfully defended his PhD thesis titled “Enhancing the Teaching of Mathematically Intensive STEM Disciplines at a Tertiary Level Through the Use of Pen-enabled Tablet PCs”. He was supervised by the other three members – Sergiy Klymchuk (primary), Tony Clear (secondary), David Wilson (third supervisor). This is the first ever PhD degree in mathematics education at AUT. Congratulations Peter! Well done and well deserved!
