23 November 2015: Establishing a partnership with the STEM Rongomai Centre, South Auckland

A partnership was established with the STEM Rongomai Centre, South Auckland http://rongomaistem.blogspot.co.nz/ . Director of STEM Rongomai Centre Nick Pattison visited STEM-TEC to discuss joint projects. One radical idea discussed was to invite primary (!) school students from Rongomai STEM Centre to give short talks and demos on their entrepreneurial activities to participants of the Unlocking Curious Minds workshops (school students age 13-18 from South Auckland schools). It is a very special group of primary students studying ALL subjects via STEM projects. This resulted even to some commercial activities selling the products they developed.
