26-27 November 2015: Australasian Symposium on Using Pen-Enabled Tablets in Teaching STEM Subjects

On 26-27 November STEM-TEC organised the Australasian Symposium on Using Pen-Enabled Tablets in Teaching STEM Subjects. Dean of the Faculty of Design and Creative Technologies Professor Desna Jury opened the Symposium. Around 60 participants from Australia, USA and New Zealand attended the Symposium. It was sponsored by Microsoft New Zealand, AUT's Centre for Learning and Teaching and STEM-TEC. Sergiy Klymchuk was Convenor, Peter Maclaren was Chair of scientific committee and David Wilson was one of the three keynote speakers. The other keynote speakers were Associate Professor Birgit Loch from Swinburne University, Australia and Educational Manager of the Microsoft New Zealand Evan Blackman.
