Abstract: I will describe briefly a number of research projects we are or have been involved in at the Mathematics Education Centre at Loughborough University, UK which are designed to engage students and explore approaches to teaching mathematics at university level.
About the speaker: Professor Barbara Jaworski, UK is Head of the Mathematics Education Centre at Loughborough University, UK. Some of her recent international appointments include - 2013-2016 President of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education (PME); 2005-2009 President of the European Society for Research in Mathematics Education (ERME).
